The jumper is worked in one piece, from the bottom front up, with additional stitches cast on for sleeves, up over the neckline, and down the back.

Circular needles are recommended, due to the number of stitches you’ll have on your needle once sleeve stitches are cast on.

The trellis stitch is given as written instructions and a chart, and the jumper really benefits from being blocked to open up the stitch design, before the sides and sleeves are seamed.
