The pattern is a simple lace repeat. That covers the body of the leg and the top of the foot. The heel is a heel flap, with simple short rows. Because you slip the stitches on your heel flap it is easy to pick up the stitches for your gusset. The toe is not kitchener stitch so for those of us that have to grab the instructions everytime for kitchener stitch, you don’t have to here. My daughter, Jessie is autistic and find touch and clothing annoying, this toe works for her. She loves wearing her socks. And hopes you will love them too.
