Jessie's Blanket
Inspired by the impending arrival of our first grandbaby, I started out making a baby blanket. In my excitement, I kept knitting and knitting thinking that the blanket just didn’t look big enough yet. Much to my surprise, when I bound off it was quite a bit larger than I thought it would be! Fortunately for you, I have now done the calculations and made the mistakes so you can have a blanket that is just the right size.
Enjoy!
Yarn used
Purple & teal blanket in the photos- knit to 720 stitches, used 10 ounces of multi, 16 ounces of teal green and 7 ounces of purple. Finished size after blocking was approx. 56 inches so it grew a bit.
Knit to 540 stitches: (green) made with 21 ounces of a single color. Finished Size approx. 40” diameter.
