Two layers form the ruffled and ruched section, yet are still whisper-thin because they’re made with lace-weight yarn. Instructions included for both a tie and cowl version.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Tie: 6 ½“ / 16.5 cm wide and 68” / 172.5 cm long
Cowl: 6 ½” / 16.5 cm wide and 52” / 132 cm long (measured in a loop)
YARN
Tie: 1 skein of Shibui Knits Cima, (328 yds / 299 m; 70% super baby alpaca, 30% fine merino wool) in Nude (MC), or smooth lace-weight yarn
2 skeins of Shibui Knits Silk Cloud, (330 yds / 300 m; 60% kid mohair, 40% silk) in Ivory (CC), or lace-weight mohair-blend yarn
Cowl: 1 skein of Shibui Knits Cima, (328 yds / 299 m; 70% super baby alpaca, 30% fine merino wool) in Abyss (MC), or smooth lace-weight yarn
1 skein of Shibui Knits Silk Cloud, (330 yds / 300 m; 60% kid mohair, 40% silk) in Velvet (CC), or lace-weight mohair-blend yarn
NEEDLES
US sizes 4, 5, 6 and 8 / 3.5, 3.75, 4, 5 mm straight or circular needles
Adjust all needle sizes (up or down) if necessary to obtain correct gauge.
