Jewel Beetle Socks
The Jewel Beetle Socks feature a bi-color broken colorwork motif. The motif is modeled after the iridescent elytral markings of the jewel beetle called Polybothris sumptuosa gemma! These socks are knit toe-up with a short-row heel and are not left/right footed, facilitating two-at-a-time knitting.
Sizing
I provide instructions for 7 sock circumferences: 7”/18cm (7.5”/19cm) (8”/20.5cm) (8.5”/21.5cm) (9”/23cm) (9.5”/24cm) (10”/25.5cm).
Yarn
200-365 meters (220-400 yards) in each of 2 colors of fingering-weight (sock) yarn
