This sock begins with a Double-Start Cast-On and the “Diagonal Squares” cuff edging followed by a 2-Color Braid and a Latvian color pattern that I call “Jewel Box” for the leg. The Heel and Toe Stitch is used for the Dutch heel and the toe of the sock, making both very long-wearing. A heel splitting pattern wraps nicely around the Dutch heel. The foot incorporates a different Latvian color pattern. The pattern is written for a Woman’s Medium or Large.

Gauge of 8 (or 9) sts per inch in 2-color stranded pattern on size 2 needles.
