ENGLISH:
This is a hat knitted in one thread of Strong Merino from Imagine wool. It is a real quick knit with simple design and neat details such as a double knitted folded edge, a cute picot edging and highlighted decreases on the top of the hat. And why not add a pompom at the top?!

Sizes, as per head circumference:
50-52, (53-55), 56-58, (59-61)cm

Yarn:
Strong merino (75m/50g) from Imaginge wool. A piece of scrap yarn preferably cotton yarn in a contrasting colour, for the provisional cast-on.

The hat could also be knitted with a lace weight mohair yarn added to the “main yarn if wished.

Garnåtgång, ca:
Imaginge wool, Strong merino: 100 (100) 100 (150)g

Gauge:
18m/10cm, needles 4.0mm
16m/10cm, needles 4.5mm

Needles:
4.0 and 4.5 mm 35-40cm cable, or 100cm cable if you prefer the Magic Loop technique. Crochet hook 4.0 for the provisional cast-on and 4.5mm DPNs.

Techniques:
Provisional cast-on with a crochet hook, knit stitch, yarn over, left- and right leaning decreases, and a variation of the three-needle bind-off.

SVENSKA:
Jidde är en nybörjarvänlig mössa som stickas i en tråd Strong merino från Imagine wool. Designen är enkel, men med fina detaljer så som ett faststickat uppvik, en söt picotkant och markerade intagningar.

Storlekar, enligt huvudmått:
50-52, (53-55), 56-58, (59-61)cm

Garn: Strong merino från Imagine wool (75m/50g) och en snutt restgarn, gärna bomullsgarn i annan färg, till den provisoriska uppläggningen.

Mössan kan även stickas i tex Svensk ull från Järbo. Vill du ha ett ännu ”fluffigare uttryck så kan du även sticka med en tunn tråd mohair om du har ett nystan över där hemma.

Masktäthet:
18m/10cm med stickor 4.0
16m/10cm med stickor 4.5

Stickor: 4.0 och 4.5 mm 35-40cm, eller 100cm om du vill sticka med magic loop. Virknål 4.0 till uppläggningen och 4.5 strumpstickor

Tekniker: provisorisk uppläggning med virknål, räta maskor, omslag, sticka två ihop, variant av ”three needle bind off”.
