A double layer, long, skinny scarf inspired by manga cat Jiji and my niece’s love of cats and all things manga/anime.

Adult length 225cm
Child length 175cm

This is a knit in one piece scarf, with a couple of modular pieces, so it is important to knit in the order laid out.

I prefer to get all the small pieces done first (head, face, ears etc) as it gives more control over the length of the body - can be knit longer, just leave 15g for the front paws.

All head pieces are knitted flat. The legs and tail are in the round.

The body can be knit in the round or double knit.
Double knit is my preference as it produces a looser texture for a scarf.

However, gauge is not important.
