Jindabyne is a garter stitch crescent shawl featuring a chevron lace stitch pattern. The shawl was created using Alpaca 4 ply, a soft and rustic alpaca fingering yarn, from Adagio Mills.

Yarn
Adagio Mills Alpaca 4 ply (100% Alpaca fingering yarn; 175 yards/160 metres per 50 grams). Shown in Sonata, 3 balls.

Needles & Notions
US 6/4 mm circular needle, 32 inches/80 cm or longer (to accommodate the large number of stitches);
Stitch marker (optional).

Gauge
17 stitches and 34 rows per 4 inches/10 cm in garter stitch (blocked). Gauge is not crucial but a different gauge will alter the finished size, drape and amount of yarn required.
