Jingle Trees
A Christmas Tree Ornament
by over the head threads

Pattern Description:
An adorable crocheted Christmas tree that can either be used as a decoration, or a Christmas ornament!

Finished Measurements:
4” tall and 4” wide, without twine loop

Gauge:
12 rows and 12 sc =3”

Materials:
Hook: 5mm hook
Worsted Weight Yarn: 10 yards of I Love This Yarn! Metallic in Jelly Bean Sparkle, but any green or color of choice worsted weight yarn will work! Larger or smaller weights of yarn will also work, but it will change the final size of your tree.
Tapestry/Yarn Needle: metal is best, plastic will work, too
Twine, Yarn, String, Pipe Cleaner: whatever you want to use to hang the ornament
Stuffing/Filling: used for dolls and teddy bears, and amigurumi projects. I used Poly-fil (polyester fiber fill), but feel free to experiment! You could try roving wool, filling from a pillow, wool batting, yarn scraps, soft fabric…you won’t need that much- about a handful or less!
Thread (optional): if you want to sew on buttons or bells, you will need some thread.
