I had some orange yarn lying around, and I wanted to get back into knitting, but not something common like a sweater or scarf…so I made my first knitted picture from a photo of my dog.

I created this pattern based on my own natural knitting style, which is 3 stitches by 5 rows=square. It is a graph pattern, using 10x10 sets of different colored “V”s. I only used one color to knit it, but the pattern is open for crochet and 2 colors (as long as your square gauge is 3 stitches by 5 rows).
