3-24-2011: additional errata: the key to the chart is incorrect and should read that -- = knit on WS, purl on RS.

Errata: Row 16 of the Heraldic Chart is incorrect. It should read (from WS): k2, p2, k4, p2, k2.

The sweater prototype was knit with yarn that is no longer available. Choose a substitute with crisp stitch definition to achieve the same look. It has a compressed row gauge due to the garter stitch in the Heraldic Stitch pattern. It is a slow-moving project, but one that remains a classic!
