Joanie Cap
The “JOANIE” hat - stylish memories
Knit in the round in a simple textured stitch, the flowers and leaves are knit separately and sewn on later.
When my mom passed away in May of 2013, I set out to design something in her memory that would encompass some of my memories of her such as…..
~ Her voice in my head telling me to “wear a hat; it’s cold out”
~ Her love of all things red
~ Her favorite flower - Lily of the valley
“JOANIE” is the end result.
