This baby blanket was designed for my Grandniece. Living in the Midwest I wanted her to have a warm thicker blanket to be cuddled in.
I designed the baby blanket to be a bit larger for her to enjoy as she grows, so it became a crib size blanket. Both mommy and baby are pleased with the larger size. Being Irish, of course the baby blanket had to be green.

Yarn: Cascade Yarns/Pinwheel; 100% Acrylic. 440yd/400m.
Color: #18/Forest – 6 skeins.
Needle size: US10(6mm).
