This large crochet tote bag is perfect for library books, day trips, and outings with the kids! This pattern is great for the intermediate crocheter or a very ambitious advanced beginner. It’s very roomy at 16.5” x 16.5” and almost 30” tall with the straps. The extended single crochet gives it that pretty look, with the sustainableJust Hemp lending a bit of rustic vibe. You can also use another Bulky (5) weight cotton yarn such as Billow, or two strands together of a DK (3) weight cotton or cotton blend yarn. If using DK weight yarn, adjust yardage to 1,000-1,200 yards.

The pattern includes a basic schematic and lots of photos to guide you along.
