The hat is knitted from the bottom up in a simple rib pattern, made up of 4 knit and 2 purl, this gives a nice look as well as a good, snug fit that warms the ears in the cooler months. Note that the hat unfolds and gets the right shape after washing, it has a completely different look while knitting it, therefore it is important you make a swatch and wash it so that your hat will fit.

Sizes: junior, (woman’s) (54-58 cm), men’s (58+ cm)

Hat measurements after washing: 17 (18) 19 cm wide, 22 (24) 25 cm in length.

Gauge: 16st/10cm in width, 27st/10cm in height. Note this is after washing.

Suggested needles: 4.5mm circular needles, 40 cm and either 80 cm if knitting magic loop, or double- pointed needles.

Yarn: Pura Lana and Kid Seta Tweed or Kid Seta from Gepard Garn, knitted with one strand of each held together
