jog on
Jog on is a cowl to celebrate running! The instructions below are for a ‘sprint’ cowl, which forms just one loop around the neck. A long distance or even a marathon cowl can be made by adding extra pattern repeats. A longer cowl will require more yarn. The cowl can easily be customised to represent your favourite type of running - the background colour could be changed to look like track or road, or a variegated yarn could be used for the cross-country or trail runner!
The cowl uses a combination of intarsia and stranded colourwork, with the MC being carried across the back of the work, and separate bobbins of CC1 being used for the left and right footprints. The cowl is worked back and forth, end to end. The ends are then grafted together.
