This is a knitted baby hat pattern with stripes. Size options are Late Preterm, Newborn-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-12 months, 1-3 years (however there are measurements included for most accuracy).

This pattern uses worsted weight yarn, preferably as soft as you feel comfortable having a baby wear. LIkely 1 or less 50 g skein of your main color and just a bit for your stripe color is all you need.

What’s special about this pattern is the stripes - usually stripes in the round have a bit of a step (a jog if you will) when the colors change since it’s technically knit in a spiral. The technique in this pattern minimizes the jog for a more seamless look. And it’s easy!
