Jogless Latvian braid: A Tutorial

This original tutorial suggests a way to minimise the jog in the knitting when working the Latvian braid in the round.

I came up with this technique for the Christmas stocking design I was working on after not being able to find useful articles/videos online on how to minimise the Latvian braid jog.

This is not the only way to minimise the jog and there are other tutorials on YouTube that give a similar, but not identical result.

Not everyone is unhappy with the jog, but if you do, give it a go! This way of working will give your knitting a more polished look.

This is not a knitting pattern but a tutorial with written instructions and pictures demonstrating how to perform the extra steps to minimise the jog.
