Joha Loop Sweater
JOHA_LOOP_SWEATER is an adult version of LITTLE_JOHA_SWEATER, which is my contribution to the Little Isager Archives collection. Both models take inspiration from ’Alstrøje’, a sweater in nuance knitting, designed by Åse Lund Jensen in the 1960s or 1970s. The interpretation is based on the original pattern, where the change in shade is highlighted by gradient colors down the sweater’s yoke throughout the pattern. The sweater has a turtleneck, a spacious fit and a deep raglan cut. The raglan cut is accentuated with stripes that continue decoratively down the body. It was a signature detail for Åse Lund Jensen to highlight seams on her knitwear with stripes or patterns.

Measurements_
Circumference_ 116 (121) 127 (132) 140 cm.
Length_ 56 (56) 57 (58) 59 cm, measured from under the neckline on the back piece.
The sweater has a generous positive ease of about 25-35 cm, and you should work the size where the circumference is between 25-35 cm bigger than your own chest measurement, all depending on how loose of a sweater you want.
The sweater shown in the pattern is size 2 with ample positive ease of 35 cm.
