Abbreviations:
St st = Stockinette stitch. Knit on the RS and purl on the WS.
Garter st = Knit on both the RS and the WS.
P = purl
K = knit
K2tog = knit 2 stitches together
Sl1 st = Slip one stitch from the left needle to the right without knitting the stitch.
SKPO = Slip one stitch knitwise, knit the next stitch, pass the slipped stitch over the worked stitch.
PM = place stitch marker
RS = Right side (front of the work)
