This pattern is untested and has no sizing or gauge. The doll is knit and the robe is crochet.
I used size 5 dpns and a size G crochet hook with Wool of the Andes yarn but any yarn and needles/hook to not have your stuffing show is fine.

I did not include his white thingie in the pattern, I just chained a length with white and then hdc i to that length and bound off.
