This is a pattern for a cabled shawl. However, there are instructions contained within the pattern for a stole, (16 1/2inches wide), and a wide scarf (11 1/2 inches wide.)

This shawl is knitted with Fleece Artists BFL Sport yarn. The shawl approximately 21 inches x 74i nches, but can be altered as stated above, and requires approximately 900 - 1100 yards.

The stitches are both charted and written out line by line, but it is always helpful to be able to read a chart, if you are using the written instructions.

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling .)

There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged.
