Jolie is an simple asymmetrical triangle shawl knit from one skein of fingering weight yarn. It begins from a cast on of 4 stitches and the main body is all garter stitch with 3 easy lace sections. It’s better suited for tonal or solid color yarns to show off the lace section details.

The pattern includes complete written instructions and charts for the lace sections if you prefer to knit from a chart.

Jolie would be great for beginner lace knitters and is the perfect shape and size to accessorize an outfit.

Exact gauge is not critical but may affect the total yardage used. Samples were knit with 380 yards. Blocking is necessary to get the final shape of lace sections. A diagram is provided.
