Jolie Julie is a flattering, playful take on the classical cardigan with an asymmetrical hem and a garter cable collar that was inspired by Stephen West’s Doodler (used with his permission). The garter cable collar flatters you with its graphic vertical line, eliminates the need for buttonholes, is knitted flat for quick and easy construction, and is seamed onto the sweater. The body is knitted flat from the bottom up with seamed shoulders and armholes and textured line shaping for a tailored look. Sizes and Yarn:The pattern is written for sizes small, medium, and large using 4, 4, 5 skeins of Julie Asselin Leizu DK, with options for an XS using Julie’s Leizu Fino and XLG with Leizu Worsted. Photo shows a 36” / 90cm (medium size) worn with 1” positive ease.

Needles & Notions: US Size 5 / 3.75cm with 32” / 80cm cable, optional DPN US 5 / 3.75cm for sleeves and collar, 23 locking stitch markers (two of which are Contrasting Markers).
