This cute jellyfish pattern was on my to-do list for a long time. I had already drawn out the idea for a long time, and finally, I found the time to work it out. Everything related to the sea is drawing my attention – from kelp to whales and fishes to coral. Jellyfish, in particular, are such remarkable creatures that I find fascinating to see. I often studied them when they ended up on the sandy shores. Still, I find them even more intriguing to watch in the water – illuminating and moving their tentacles gracefully through the water. I wanted to create a jellyfish pattern that forms naturally in good shape without too much work – and here it is! Enjoy making this cute fellow.

General information about the pattern:

Yarn Requirements: I have used Scheepjes Cahlista for this pattern. Scheepjes Cahlista is a 100% natural cotton that comes in balls of 50 grams and lengths of 85 meters. One jellyfish needs three balls of Cahlista or at least 210 meters of yarn. I made the examples shown in the colorway: 105 Bridal White, 173 Bluebell, and 261 Capri Blue.

Crochet hook needed: For this type of yarn, you will use a 3.5mm hook. When choosing a different kind of yarn, always take one size smaller than the smallest size suggested for the yarn chosen.

Size: The jellyfish will have a diameter of 8 inches and a length of 16 inches in the suggested type of yarn.

-For this pattern, there is NO chart or video available. Many photos are added to show you the construction and building up of the body.

The pattern contains very basic stitches and a simple construction method that is very beginner-friendly.
