Size: One size. Length is adjustable.

Measurements: Foot circumference: 20-22 cm / 8 inches. Size up or down by using bigger or smaller needles.

Gauge: 30 stitches x 41 rows in stockinette stitch = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4 inches after blocking.

Suggested needles: 2.50 mm (US 1.5) circular or double pointed needles. Remember this is a recommendation. Please knit a gauge swatch.

Materials: A total of approximately 300 meters / 350 yards of fingering weight sock yarn. Sample on photo is knitted in colors:
A: red (Jawoll by Lang Yarns - color 61 - dark red)
B: white (Jawoll by Lang Yarns - color 01 - white).
C: grey (Durable Soqs - color 2233 - white grey)
D: light beige (Durable Soqs - color 442 - sesame). For the face.
E: black (Jawoll by Lang Yarns - color 04 - black). For the eyes.
F: brown/gold (Jawoll by Lang Yarns - color 339 - caramel). For the belt’s buckle.

CONSTRUCTION NOTES

Jolly Santa Socks have the same pattern for both the top and the sole of the foot. They are knitted toe up and seamlessly. Started with casting on and forming the toes. Continue knitting the foot and sole according to the chart. Shape the heel with German short rows. Knit the leg according to the snowflakes chart. Finish with a twisted rib cuff.
