Jollyville
Jollyville is a boxy vest knitted in an overall textured pattern of twisted stitches accented with simple garter stitch. The stitch pattern combines vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines, similar to the lines of the steel bridge in the photograph.
The vest is knitted from the bottom up in two pieces, joined at the shoulders with a three needle bind off. Stitches are picked up around the neckline and worked in the round. Stitches are picked up for the opening around the sleeves and the sides are seamed.
Pattern stitch is both written and charted.
