This elongated triangular-shaped shawl is knit from the center back neck down to the bottom hem. It is shaped with the use of yarn-overs and knit into the front/back of a stitch to create its very wearable shape. The shawl has sections of garter stitch interspersed with eyelet rows. It was knit using a mini-skein pack of six 87-yard fingering weight skeins, but could be knit with any fingering weight yarn that meets the yardage requirements. It is easily adjusted in size by added or subtracting repeats of the final 4 rows before the bind-off.

The pattern is presented in written form; there are no charts. Suggested skills include: Knit/purl, YO’s and K2tog decreases.

With color F, work Eyelet Rows 1-4 once. 293 sts.
With color E, work Eyelet Rows 1-4 once. 297 sts.
With color F, work Eyelet Rows 1-4 once. 301 sts.
With color E, work Eyelet Rows 1-4 once. Break color E. 305 sts.
With color F, work Garter Stitch Increase Rows 1-2 a total of 2 times. 311 sts.
On the next row (RS), BO 4 sts, slip remaining st from right-hand needle to left-hand needle and cast on 2 sts using the knitted cast-on technique into, BO 5; rep from to last 3 sts, BO remaining sts.
