This shawl is worked top down starting at the center top. The pattern is given for four different versions of this design and the download page contains 4 PDF files with charts and line-by-line directions for :

• version with central panel and alternative edging
• version without central panel and with alternative edging
• version with central panel and knitted-on edging
• version without central panel and with knitted-on edging

The edging, in the version with knitted-on edging, is worked sideways and joined to the live stitches of the body of the shawl.

All the PDFs contain the links to video tutorials which show how to work the beginning tab, how to do the cables without cable needle and, for the version with knitted-on edging, how to graft the few edging stitches.

The pattern is both in charts and text format.
