Jonquil
jon·quil
/ˈjänkwəl/
noun: a widely cultivated narcissus with clusters of small
fragrant yellow flowers and cylindrical leaves.
This sweater is a classic yoke construction. It is a seamless
sweater worked from the top down. There are optional
short rows at the back of the neck. The body and sleeves
are then separated and worked in the round to the lower
hem or cuff.
There is also an option for an A-line body and a link to a video tutorial on short rows.
These measurements are of the finished garment. This
sweater was designed with 4” (10 cm) of positive ease but
can be comfortably worn anywhere from 2-8” (5-15 cm)
of ease. The model here has a bust measurement of 52”
(132 cm) and is wearing a Size 8 with no A-line shaping.
See schematic photo for complete sizes.
