Jordan at Sunrise
Jordan at Sunrise is the third in my Japanese Maples series.
Acer Shirasawanum ‘Jordan’ is one of my favolurites. I adopted it as my own from the first day. I can see the morning light shimmering through its translucent leaves early in the morning. It beckons me to bring my morning coffee and take a stroll in the front garden to have a better look. The autumn colour varies with the weather, but can be a brilliant coral colour.
The shawl is worked in one piece, starting at the centre neck, and worked down. It is triangular in shape, with a centre spine. Optional beads are used in the body pattern of the shawl. The shawl can be made larger with additional repeats of either Chart 2 or Chart 3 or both. Additional yarn would be required.
Optional beads are used in the body to add a subtle sparkle to the shawl.
This shawl is considered intermediate in level of difficulty.
Both charts as well as written instructions are provided.
