I am so very excited to bring this pattern to you. I have loved this pattern from the moment I thought it up, to the moment I finished the second version. My friends will tell you, I usually hate making the second version. This shawl means a lot to me.

I named it Joseph shawl because I used a magic ball of all my sock yarn scraps from the past few years. It reminds me of one of my favorite Bible stories. Here are my thoughts; the many colors represent the coat of many colors, the knit on gold edging represents the prosperity that came to Joseph that enabled him to save his family from starvation.

Since not everyone enjoys a beautiful multicolored shawl, I have a friend that dyes yarn and created an extra large version in two of her fabulous tonal colorways. This shawl takes your breath away.

In the same yarn as described above, we have a medium shawl being knit up as I type this. When all samples are finished, instructions will be available in four sizes.

This shawl is knit in garter stitch. Then instead of binding off a gazillion stitches, we cast on stitches to do a patterned knit bind off. That is when the real fun begins. It is an easy to memorize pattern. Just cast on and have some fun.
