Mizzy Kitty, (the model), weight about 9 pounds, so this sweater fits kitties such as her, or small doggies such as smaller pugs or larger chihuahuas, if that helps you place the sweater size better.

I use Red Heart Super Savor yarn or Caron Simply Soft Yarn that I get from Wal-Mart in most of my pattern creations so that the gauge/design is more easily matched for everyone! If you use Caron Yarn you might be able to get this sweater to come out a little bit smaller for a larger toy breed of puppy dog.
