Josephine Regency Shawl
This Regency Era “Josephine” Prayer shawl pattern is a lovely and feminine wrap that is very easy to make.
The main part of this shawl is made following a lovely filet crochet stitch pattern; this simple 1 row pattern repeat is easy to follow and creates a very feminine lacy design. A dainty and delicate picot edging is crocheted all around this design, creating an extra vintage element.
This shawl is inspired by the Regency era, and is crocheted with just one skein of Lion Brand Mandala Baby yarn in shade Diagon Alley (or any DK/light 3 yarn of your preference).
This wrap is a very dainty and feminine project, and it is part of my Vintage Crochet Series.
The size of the finished shawl is: 12” x 70,5” (30,5 cm x 180 cm)
This is a great project for beginners.
This pattern is written in US terms (British terms in brackets)
