The Josephine Sweater is a delicate and feminine sweater with beautiful lace structure at the body and sleeves. It is created with a high collar and slightly dropped shoulders.

The sweater is knitted with two strands of yarn held together (one strand merino + one strand mohair).
It´s worked bottom up in rounds. After the desired body length is reached, front and back are knitted separately in rows. The shoulders are sewn together using the mattress stitch. For the collar stitches are picked up along the neckline and knitted in the round.
Finally stitches are picked up along the armholes for the sleeves and the sleeves are worked in rounds until the desired length.

Sizes:

XXS / XS / S / M / L / XL / XXL - 76-78 / 80-82 / 84-86 / 90-92 / 96-98 / 104-106 / 113-115 cm bust circumference

The sweater is designed to have approx. 4-6 cm of positive ease, so the finished sweater will be approx. 4-6 cm larger than your bust circumference. The measurements of the finished sweater are approx. 84/88/92/96/102/110/118 cm

Needle size:

circular needle 3.5 mm + 3.0 mm / DPNS 3.0 mm

Gauge:

26 stitches x 33 rows = 10 x 10 cm in lace pattern on 3.5 mm needles with two strands of yarn

Suggested Yarn:

• one strand Cool Wool Lace from Lana Grossa (400m/50g)

approx. 150/150/175/175/175/200/200 gr

• one strand Silkhair Haze or Silkhair Haze Melange from Lana Grossa (210m/25g)

approx. 150/150/175/175/175/200/200 gr

As long as you hit the gauge it´s also possible to knit alternatively with one strand of yarn with approx. 200-250m/50g yardage or with two strands of mohair.

GERMAN

Der Josephine Sweater ist ein femininer Pullover mit einem zarten und luftigen Lacemuster. Es hat einen hohen Kragen und leicht abgesenkte Schultern.

Der Pullover wird zweifädig (einfädig Merino + einfädig Mohair) in Runden von unten nach oben gestrickt. Nachdem die gewünschte Länge erreicht ist, werden das Vorder- und Rückenteil separat voneinander in Hin- und Rückreihen gestrickt.
Die Schultern werden mit dem Matratzenstich zusammengenäht.
Für den Kragen werden Maschen entlang des Halsausschnitts aufgenommen und in Runden bis zur gewünschten Höhe gestrickt.
Anschließend werden für die Ärmel Maschen entlang des Armausschnitts aufgenommen und in Runden bis zur gewünschten Länge gestrickt.
Für ein elastisches Bündchen werden die Maschen am Kragen und an den Ärmeln italienisch abgekettet.

XXS / XS / S / M / L / XL / XXL - 76-78 / 80-82 / 84-86 / 90-92 / 96-98 / 104-106 / 113-115 cm Brustumfang

Der Pullover ist mit einem Bewegungsspielraum (positive ease) von ca. 4-6 cm im Verhältnis zum Brustumfang entworfen. Die fertigen Maße des Pullovers sind somit 84/88/92/96/102/110/118 cm Brustumfang.

Nadelstärke:

Rundstricknadel 3.5 mm + 3.0 mm / Nadelspiel 3.0 mm

Maschenprobe:

26 Maschen x 33 Reihen = 10 x 10 cm im Lacemuster mit NS 3,5 zweifädig (einfädig Merino + einfädig Mohair)

Garn:

Alternativ kann man auch einfädig mit einem Garn der LL von ca. 200-250m/50g oder zweifädig mit Mohiar stricken. Wichtig ist auf die Maschenprobe zu kommen.
