The Josie Dickie was inspired by my late Grandmother Josephine. Josephine introduced me to the fiber arts many moons ago when I was just 14 years old. The brief introduction into her world of crochet would lay the foundation into my own knitting world today. One of the first pieces my grandmother made for me was a classic dickie back in 1982. I remember how warm and fuzzy the piece was as it cuddled my neck. I promised one day I would mimic the Dickie she made for me.
