The shawl is named after its first recipient, my brother Josu. He is a very creative guy, a very talented photographer, and I didn’t want a simple scarf so I gathered a lot of aran yarn for a huge shawl and this is the result.

The shawl can be knitted with any yarn weight, you just need 4 different colors. Heike (Fassadenzauber) helped with the test-knitting in the fingering version. You can find this version after the Worsted pattern.

Materials:

Yarn: (Worsted) Drops Karisma 4 colors. 2 skeins of each color (200ms/100gr of each color), 800ms total meterage. Final Shawl measures 80cm in depth and 260cm across.

(Fingering) Drops Fabel 200ms/50gr 4 colors. 1 Skein of each color. 819Ms total meterage. Final shawl measures 65 cm depth, 135 cm across.

Needles: 7mm circular needles (Worsted), 3’5mm circular needles (Fingering).

Stitches:
K (Knit), kfb (Knit front and back of stitch), M1 (Make one), SM (slip marker).
