Jamie and Claire’s travels never seem to be direct. Although destined for Scotland, circumstances continually intervene, launching our Outlander couple in new directions. Based on season 7 of Outlander, this log cabin style crocheted shawl captures their ‘journey interrupted’. Started in the middle, and worked outwards, there are no seams to sew, as all blocks pick up stitches from prior blocks, as you rotate your way to the edges. Twelve mini skeins of sport weight yarn (minimum 105yds per mini skein) are used for this shawl. As pictured, 3 packages of Bartlettyarns Sport Swirls (pkg of 4: 1 ounce/105yds mini skeins) in package colors: Meadow, Heart of the Desert & Bucket of Rust. Each block is worked in a different color and a different stitch pattern. Instructions and mini charts are included for each stitch pattern used.
