Jovia is a lovely crescent shawlette which knits up quickly in 100g of DK weight merino. Just the sort of something for instant gratification using size 8 needles to work up a lacy garter based shawlette.

A fair few folks have run out of yarn for the bind off with only 225 yards so I recommend a skein with 250 yards or at least a bit extra just in case. Although there are some lovely versions with a bind off in a contrast color.

It blocks out to a sweet shoulder shawl that utilizes short-row garter shaping and a bit of lovely lace with an eyelet picot edging.
