This is a CROCHET PATTERN for a beautiful handmade crochet decorative art. “喜乐” are the Chinese characters for “JOY.” This pattern uses two techniques: tapestry crochet and cross stitch. Put the final crocheted piece inside a frame or make it as a stand alone wall décor.

PATTERN DETAILS:

Technique required: Tapestry Crochet and Cross Stitch
Terminology: Standard US Crochet Terms
Finished product size: 20” (w) x 16” (h)
Hook needed: 4mm crochet hook
Yarn needed: Caron One Pound or any thicker #4 worsted weight yarn.

Main Color (White) – approx. 265 yds
Contrast Color A (Black) – approx. 100 yds
Contrast Color B (Country Rose) – approx. 10 yds
Other materials: yarn needle, 20”x16” picture frame

The pattern comes with a graph that is broken up into 3 pages that you will need to tape together to form the full design. The squares of the graph are big enough and comfortable to work with.
