Joy Socks
by Lisa Holper
This pattern is for a circular sock machine (CSM). This pattern features a top-cuff-down midcalf or knee-height sock design with a 2 x 1 ribbed leg knitting in half-pitch.
The pattern only lists basic instructions and, therefore, requires knowledge of how to knit a sock on a CSM.
The pattern works with any size cylinder and ribber. The samples were knit using a 72-needle cylinder with a 72-needle ribber. The samples were knit using a hung hem and wrapped short-row heels and toes. Sizing may be adjusted.
The samples were knit using a fingering weight yarn with at least 10% nylon. It requires approx. 100–200 g or 400–800 m for one pair of socks.
The pattern has not been tech edited nor test knitted. Enjoy!
