Half circle shaped shawl in a mix of stripes and lace.

When designing Joycelyn my aim was to make a large shawl using only 2 skeins of yarn (366 m/100 g per skein) and with as little yarn left as possible. After some knitting, a lot of unravelling and knitting again, I came up with this design.

Finished measurements:
wingspan 230 cm
from top to bottom at deepest point 55 cm
(after blocking).

Yarn:
The sample was knit using LITLG, Life in the Long Grass singles sock (366 m/100 g) in the colours Joyce (A) and Barefoot (B), 1 skein in each colour.

Needle size:
3.75 mm circular needle, minimum 80 cm.

Gauge:
22 sts and 30 rows = 10 cm in stocking stitch (before blocking).
