One of my two Bestest (I know that is incorrect grammar… but that is what we call each other) friends is an elementary teacher in North Central Indiana. She asked for a hat that would keep her head warm while on recess duty during the winter.

I made this by combining two strands of the cotton yarns. My neighbor tried it on for me and said it would keep her warm in our Western New York winters so I know it meets the criteria I set for warmth.

The model used is Indy, my shephard/Akita mix. As you can tell, she is thrilled to be modeling.
