I find a 40” circular needle works best to hold all of the bottom stitches.
You will need four skeins of a darker color and three skeins of a lighter color. Naturespun worsted has 245 yards per skein, so approx. 980 yards of a darker color and 735 yards of a lighter color.
Additional gauge: 3 1/2 stitches per inch in pattern. 4 sts per inch in garter.
Main body is made with an easy slip stitched pattern.
