The “JUDY” hat - bright rainbows of fun

Inspired by old-fashioned dot candy, this rainbow hat is knit in the round and uses slip stitches to create the stripes.

THE BASICS

• Pattern includes 6 sizes: Newborn / 3-6 months / 6-12 months / Toddler / Child / Adult

• Pattern is written in ENGLISH and uses standard U.S. knitting terms

• Instructions are for knitting in the round on circular and double pointed needles

• Gauge: 20 stitches = 4 inches (10 cm)

• Knitting skill level - INTERMEDIATE

• Approx. 80 - 180 yds (73 - 165 m) DK or light-worsted weight yarn in Main Color

• Several yds (m) DK or light-worsted weight yarn EACH of bright rainbow colors

• U.S. size 6 (4mm) 12” or 16” circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge

• U.S. size 6 (4 mm) double pointed needles or size needed to obtain gauge

• Stitch marker

• Yarn needle
