Jug Coat
I have always been attracted to china pots, and particularly to blue-and-white ones. They seemed complicated to depict in textiles until I began to come across Chinese paintings of them done in a simplified, flat manner. Then I saw that many other cultures treated blue and white wonderfully in this flat style. —Kaffe Fassett, “Glorious Color”
