JUiST No2
I thought it is a good idea to make a new sweater every time I’ll go to Juist, my favorite island in the North Sea. We should have been there this weekend …
Danica from Nature’s luxury is offering kits here
JUiST is worked seamlessly from the top down in stockinette stitch. You start shaping the neck with some short rows, while increasing for a slanted contiguous shoulder. Then you first increase for the sleeves and then also for the back and the front along the markers down to sleeve separation. The sleeve stitches are then placed on hold, underarm stitches are cast on, and you continue to knit the body to the bottom ribbing. After the body is completed, sleeve stitches are placed back onto the needles to knit top down to the cuffs.
