Jukebox is a top-down, seamless cardigan with V-neck.
Upper back part is worked first from shoulders to the underarms, then the stitches of the fronts are picked up from the cast on edges of the back shoulders and fronts are worked to the underarms.
Then the pieces are joined and worked in one piece to the hem.
The body of the sample cardigan is knit with 6 contrasting colours but the striped pattern is easily adjustable. Use the blank chart to create your own colour palette.
The stitches of the sleeve caps are picked up around the armholes then they are shaped with short rows.
Sleeves are worked in the round from the underarm to the cuff.
The sleeves are worked in a textured stitch pattern which is easy to memorize. It adopts the proportions of the stripes of the body.
Finally the collar and front bands are worked in rib pattern back and forth in rows.


Gauge
24 sts and 32 rows = 10x10 cm/4”x4” in Stockinette Stitch knit flat (upper body and body) with larger needle after blocking
24 sts and 32 rounds = 10x10 cm/4”x4” in Textured Stitch Pattern knit in the round (sleeves) with larger needle after blocking
Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Needles
· 80 cm/32” circular needle in each of the following sizes: 3.5 mm/ US 4 and 3.0 mm/ US 2½ (or size to obtain gauge)
· 40 cm/16” circular needle or double pointed needles (dpns) in each of the following sizes: 3.5 mm/ US 4 and 3.0 mm/ US 2½ for working in small circumferences (or size to obtain gauge) (optional)

40 cm/16” circular needles and dpns are optional if you prefer the Magic Loop Method for working small circumferences in the round.

Notions
