Every year in the far north of Sweden, near the town of Kiruna, ice and snow is shaped and sculpted to create astonishing ephemeral buildings where the temperature never exceeds 5 C. This hat is inspired by the only elements that is constant in the structures: ice and snow.

Jukkasjarvi Icehotel is knit in the round beginning with colour 2 and adding colour 1 at chart 1 and ending with an added tassel. You may wish to add a cobweb or mohair yarn to your lighter colour, if it needs some extra weight.
